- Bike Adapter Bar for an Electra Townie 7D Mens Bike and Thule Raceway Trunk Mount Bike Rack
- The bike adpater bars, like # TH982XT, are also a fit for the trunk mount bike racks like the Raceway # TH9001. The TH982XT would be a good choice.
Looking at some pictures of the bike you would most likely have to raise the seat as high as you could to get an adapter bar to fit and be affective. Otherwise, you would

- Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2011 Honda Accord
- The main advantages a 2 inch receiver opening has over a 1-1/4 inch opening is that the 2 inch will be stronger, and more accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers are built for 2 inch hitches than 1-1/4 inch hitches.
If their are options for both style hitches for a vehicle we will almost always recommend going with the 2 inch hitch due to the increased towing capacities and versatility. Vibration is not an issue that appears more on one size of hitch over the other.

Questions from Honda Accord owners about this product
- Recommended Methods for Carrying Four Bikes on 2002 Honda Accord 2-Door
- Due to its very low tongue weight capacity (maximum amount of weight that can be applied to the receiver), the bike rack and hitch manufacturers agree that any bike rack used in a Class I receiver be limited to carrying two bikes only. Not only does the limited weight capacity come into play here, but any additional bikes placed on a rack will place the load of the additional bikes further away from the hitch. As more weight is added further away, more leverage is exerted on the hitch which coul

- Bike Rack Recommendation for Carrying 4 Bikes With a 2003 Honda Accord Sedan
- All of the bike racks you have selected are excellent models that would do a great job hauling bikes. The problem lies in that your 2003 Honda Accord Sedan only has Class I hitches available. With a Class I hitch only the Thule Vertex 4 Bike Carrier, item # TH9029, will work on your vehicle and will only be able to carry two bikes, due to the low tongue weight capacity of the vehicle and hitch. With a 4 bike rack and more than two bikes the amount of weight extending out behind the vehicle would

The reason that only two bikes are recommended, on a hitch mounted bike rack, for Class I hitches is that the added torque applied to the hitch and vehicle frame will be too great for the setup, and will eventually if not immediately, cause damage to the hitch or the vehicle frame. Basical
