Today on our 2013 Dodge Durango, we'll be test fitting the Surco 24x60 Cargo Carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number 52018. Now to begin our test fit, we'll slide the cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install our hitch pin. We can then put the clip on the other side of the pin which will secure our cargo carrier to the vehicle. We can now go ahead and give you a few measurements. From the closest point of our cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle is 4 inches and the cargo carrier itself will add an additional 29-1/2 inches of overall length to the vehicle. Our ground clearance here at the back of the carrier is 12-1/2 inches and the exhaust on this vehicle does exit the passenger's side here at the rear bumper.

From the closest point of the cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle is two and a half inches, and this cargo carrier will add an additional 22 inches to the overall length of the vehicle itself. Our ground clearance here at the back of the cargo carrier is 12.5 inches.
