Bring all the bikes with you on your trip using Thule's Roadway Folding 5-Bike Carrier. Dual-arm design enables a wider variety of bikes to fit without having to use an adapter. The built-in anti-rattle device along with the anti-sway strap gives you a smoother, quieter ride. The quick-release switch makes it easy and convenient to tilt the rack down when you need to get to the cargo area of your vehicle. Thule Roadway™ 5 Bike Carrier for 2" Trailer Hitch Receivers Features: Hitch mounted rack carries up to 5 bikes. Thule Hitch Switch™ dual quick-release levers make it easy to tilt the rack forward for rear access of the vehicle. Also makes folding the arms down for storage a breeze. Dual bike carrier arm design offers best bike fit, minimizing the need for top-tube adapters. Specially designed T3 cradles lock down bikes while still allowing complete adjustment along the bike rack arms. Soft rubber straps secure bikes to cradles on either side of bike carrier cradle. Built-in anti-rattle device reduces the vibration and noise of the rack in the hitch. Optional Snug Tite™ lock (# THSTL2) is available to fit over anti-rattle device and secure the carrier to the hitch. Includes anti-sway strap to reduce movement of bikes on carrier. Can be upgraded with No Sway Cage™ accessory (# TH955) which works exclusively with T3 cradles and prevents bikes from rocking back and forth on carrier. Specs: Carries up to 5 bikes. Replaces Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Mounted Bike Racks (# TH951XT). Thule Hitch Switch™ This lever is used at two places on the Thule Roadway bike carrier. One lever is at the base of the rack, where the shank (part that slides into the trailer hitch) is connected to the upright bar. By simply lifting up on the lever (the hitch switch), it allows the upright bar to tilt forward. To raise the rack back into position just push the rack towards the vehicle until you hear the hitch switch click into place. The hitch switch is also located at the top of the rack where the two arms that carry the bikes meet the upright bar. Again, simply lift the lever to fold the arms down for storage. This is much easier than messing around with pins, clips and cables.
