The mobility carrier simply slides into the 2" opening on your trailer hitch and provides a platform to transport the mobility scooter. The ramp, when mounted on the passenger side, easily folds down to allow for quick loading and unloading next to or on the curb.

Ramp collapses flat into carrier platform for storage

When in use, the ramp is stored in an upright position and is also used to help secure cargo on the platform.

The Chevrolet Aveo can only use a Class I hitch, which can only handle 200 lbs of tongue weight, or downward force.
