Today, we'll be demonstrating how to install the Yakima Same Key System Lock Cores, Part Number Y07204. The Yakima Same Key System fit all Yakima locking products that use the SKS locks. So to begin our installation, we'll start by removing the front plastic cap. We'll insert the key into the slot and pull it out. There's a protruding cylinder shape piece of metal sticking out of the lock core. This will need to slide in the small hole on the inside of the lock.
We'll slide the key into the lock core. We'll slide the lock core into position and turn the key. We'll then repeat these steps for all three of the lock cores. The number of lock cores will vary due to the amount of Yakima Same Key System Lock Core accessories you have. In this demonstration, we are using the Yakima Q Towers and that completes today's installation of the Yakima Same Key System Lock Cores, Part Number Y07204..
