Yakima Hitch Cargo Carrier - Y02589

This hitch mount creates greater load stability when carrying kayaks, canoes and longer loads. The Y-frame base supports a crossbar (sold separately) and works with existing towers to form a complete rack system.

Features:

• Upright bar slides into 2" hitch to support an additional crossbar
  • Crossbar sold separately
• Combines with roof rack - or Yakima Outdoorsman 300 - to create greater load stability
• Adjustable height to match existing rooftop rack
• Frees up truck bed to carry other gear
• Includes stabilizing straps
• Secures with anti-wobble, threaded hitch pin

Specs:

• Application: 2" x 2" hitches
• Crossbars must be at least 58" long
• Dimensions: 56-76" tall (adjustable in 2" increments) x 52" wide at top of Y-frame
• Measures about 8-1/2" between back of mast and the center of the hitch bolt hole
