Today we are going to show you part number Y02531 from Yakima. This is their TubeTop bicycle adapter for alternative frames or womens bike frames that allows you to carry on a traditional bicycle rack. We will go ahead and install this on an alternative-frame bicycle to give you a better idea of how it works. First step is to push down on this button here. Open it up and then do the same thing on the other side. And one part will go around your handlebars, and the other half will go around your seat post. And then lock the arms back down. You will notice that the tube on this one is rather on the large side. That is because it matches both bicycle frames on the average, so that way you get a better grip on the adapter itself when you strap it onto the bicycle rack.
OK, let us go ahead and install this on a typical bicycle rack. Once you have it in place, you can move it left and right, however you need it, and then strap it down in place. All right, and that covers it for part number Y02531 from Yakima, the TubeTop.

The price, and product were great. Delivery was prompt. The bike bar adapter works great, the only issue was when using the front of the bar on the handlebar stem the front wheel was to close to the ground when mounted on the bike rack, but this was resolved by placing the front of the bar on the top of the fork tube of the frame, the extra 1 1/2" gained by doing this leveled ot the bike on the rack, and gave me the clearance needed. The bike is a 1947 Monark Super Deluxe womens bike, with a tank, and dual springer front end. Thanks for a great product !! Sincerly, Larry Wildes14538
