We are installing part number V82770 on a 2005 on up Chrysler Town and Country with Stow and Go seating. We need to take off this bolt, and all three of these bolts here, this is where the hitch bolts up
We will do that on both sides. One side and now the other.
We are going to tighten this back bolt up different from the other side. We can use this to pull the hitch up a little bit closer.
These bolts get torqued down to 75 foot-pounds and the ones up front gets torqued down to 43 foot-pounds. And now the other side.

Definitely not the easiest installation. 3rd vehicle in 4 years I've put a hitch on, and this was the most troublesome. In defense of the product, however, there's a whole lotta stuff under the rear end of the van, so I'm not gonna try to re-engineer it. My biggest complaint is that there was another bold that I needed to remove that the instructions didn't mention. There was a slot on the hitch as if it was supposed to go around it, but it was much too small to do so. All said & done, it took about 1-1/2 hours to install all by my lonesome. Also, the product arrived with some scuffs & paint missing; but I'm gonna go ahead & blame UPS for that one, because the box looked like it fell out of the truck a few times. If I didn't NEED to use the hitch in a few days, I would probably raise a complaint, fairly certain that e-trailer would take care of me. They always have.9452

I was surprized at how fast it got here. the box was tore up ahd the hitch was sticking out in several places. The good news was the hitch was not damaged and all parts were intact. I do not have it installed yet, but it should not be to hard. all in all it looks like an excellant product. This is the third one I have ordered and they all were very good. Built sollid and look good installed.20401

etrailer.com ROCKS. I ordered this on a Friday, got it on a Tuesday with free shipping! Total install time was probably 30 minutes, 8 total bolts. Wiggling it into place was the hardest part but as soon as we figured that out, it was no problem. It's probably a 2 person job if you're upside down under the vehicle just because it's awkward. Have ramps to back your vehicle up onto and you're set. Fantastic service and great product Etrailer! Thank you!18185
