Video Transcript for Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Acura RDX

Today we are going to be installing part number v82112 which is a Valley Class III Trailer Hitch. We will be installing it on a 2007 Acura RDX turbo model. This hitch installs in 2 points. One is the threading right here. The other point is this hole right here. This hole uses a handle nut which looks like this and goes inside here. Thats what installs the bolt in place and holds it on the inside.

We can start off by raising the hitch up and holding it in place with only a few bolts. The next step is installing our handle nut. It is pretty simple you take it and bend it to the dimension you need. Pop it in there and install your bolt. Going back to your rear mount attachment we will go ahead and replace the rear bolt with a rear bolt and washer. Then do the same thing for the other side. At this point you might want to snug up your bolts. Make sure the hitch is where you want it before you tighten them up. Since we have it where we want it we will go ahead and torque them down.
