- With a 5th wheel trailer hitch installed in the bed of your truck, it would need to be removed in order to install a slide in camper. You would most likely have to remove the above the bed rails that hold the 5th wheel hitch also.
I have linked the instructions for the Valley Installation Kit, # V55000R. You can see that the rails sit above the bed and would probably interfere with the floor of a slide in camper.
