UWS combined the L-shape transfer tank with the chest storage box to provide twice as many functions without taking up twice the space. Construction workers, farmers, or anyone who would need to transport diesel fuel or non-potable water can now have a place to store their gear as well. On the top of the transfer tank, you will find a commercial-grade, vented cap that provides access while also alleviating any excessive pressure buildup inside. The heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant, aluminum alloy construction of the tank uses sturdy mounting flanges built into the base for direct installation onto your truck bed. The insulated chest lid opens to a full 90 degrees with the help of two super-duty lift cylinders, which raise the lid and hold it open as you load and unload your gear.
