TruXedo took its premier tonneau cover - the Lo Pro QT - and added an integrated cargo management tie-down track to the rails to form the ultimate truck bed accessory - the TonneauTrax.
The integrated track system is built right into the rails of the tonneau, featuring four rail-height cargo anchors - two per side - for securing your cargo. The cast steel anchors are easily accessible and quickly and easily reposition along the rail and lock into place to ensure a safe, secure mounting point for tie-down straps. The system is rated for 1,000 lbs.
The TonneauTrax rails install in 20 minutes or less with heavy-duty, bolt-on clamps. The clamps mount five to a side, holding the angled side rails in place along the inside of your truck bed rails. This allows you to install the tonneau still use your stake pockets for ladder racks and other truck bed accessories. The rails sit less than 1" above your truck bed for a sleek, low-profile look.
A spring-loaded header guide snaps easily into place at the front of the truck bed to secure the cover assembly, cutting down cutting down installation time when compared with bolt-on headers found in other tonneau covers.
The cover mounts on the rails with 1-1/2" Velcro strips for a superior hold - no snaps or adhesives to fail. The Velcro moves back and forth - or floats - on the rails, preventing normal wear and tear. The "floating hook" technology works in tandem with the auto-tensioning system to continually adjust the fabric and keep it tight, even when the cover is closed.
The "floating hook" Velcro strips work together with a spring-loaded, automatic tension control in the cover that keeps your tonneau tight during temperature fluctuations - no more constant adjustments with a knob.
The cover also helps to provide a weatherproof storage space for your cargo, with corner seals and weather seals on all four sides - more seals than any other cover on the market.
The cover seals against the tailgate with a latching header. A simple trigger latch releases the header to allow for quick roll-up. A locked tailgate adds another level of security, because the cover will not disengage unless the tailgate is open.

TruXedo TonneauTrax styling allows for improvement in gas mileage by up to 10 percent by creating a more aerodynamic bed that reduces tailgate drag.
