The rails of the Lo Pro QT install in 20 minutes or less with TruXedo's quick-attach QT Clamps. These clamps install without tools, opening and tightening with a built-in, cam-action lever. The clamps mount four to a side, holding the angled side rails in place along the inside of your truck bed rails. This allows you to install the tonneau and still utilize your stake pockets for ladder racks and other truck bed accessories. The rails sit less than 1" above your truck bed for a sleek, low-profile look. All components come pre-assembled and ready to install - no drilling required.
A spring-loaded header guide snaps easily into place at the front of the truck bed to secure the cover assembly, cutting down installation time over bolt-on headers found in other tonneau covers.
The cover mounts on the rails with 1-1/2" Velcro strips for a superior hold - no snaps or adhesives to fail. The Velcro moves back and forth - or floats - on the rails, preventing normal wear and tear. The "floating hook" technology works in tandem with the auto-tensioning system to continually adjust and keep the fabric tight, even when the cover is closed.
The "floating hook" Velcro strips work together with a spring-loaded, automatic tension control in the cover that keeps your tonneau tight during temperature fluctuations - no more constant adjustments with a knob.
The cover also helps to provide a weatherproof storage space for your cargo, with corner seals and weather seals on all four sides - more seals than any other cover on the market.
Cover seals against the tailgate with a latching header. A simple trigger latch releases the header to allow for quick roll-up. A locked tailgate adds another level of security because the cover will not disengage unless the tailgate is open.
