The cover rolls up in seconds to store behind the toolbox and is held in place by a pair of security straps. The top also hides the control latch for the toolbox, mounted along the driver's side TruXedo rail. The latch locks from the driver's side, ensuring the safety of your cargo.
The toolbox is constructed of 0.80 aluminum and includes a continuous hinge and a reinforced lid for strength. The top of the lid has a black, powder coated, textured-grain finish that blends with the cover for a clean, uninterrupted look.
The toolbox is approximately 11" wide and 18" deep, offering plenty of storage space for your cargo. A skid-resistant plate inside the toolbox helps to keep your cargo stable, and a gas strut makes opening the toolbox lid effortless.
The TruXedo Plus cover installs easily onto your vehicle with side rails and clamps that mount along the inside lip of the bed. The cover attaches directly to the toolbox at the front and secures at the tailgate with a rear header that locks into place over a toggle latch.
Velcro straps affix the fabric cover to the side rails - no snaps, clips or zip-style strips to fail. Tension of the cover can be adjusted by repositioning the toolbox.
TruXedo's aerodynamic design cuts down on tailgate drag by covering the bed, improving gas mileage by up to 10 percent.
