Thule Fairing is a great looking accessory that offers new styling, improved noise reduction and an updated mounting design. It attaches to the front roof rack load bar and extends down to the vehicle roof to prevent wind from flowing between the roof rack and the roof. It reduces drag and therefore dramatically reduces roof rack noise while also creating an attractive smooth outline for your vehicle. The Thule Fairing has a rigid design which further prevents wind slap. It can be quickly and easily mounted anywhere on any Thule roof rack and offers minimal interference with roof rack accessories (bike racks, cargo boxes, kayak carriers, and the like). Rubber bumpers on struts and anti-scuff film protect your vehicle's finish.

This extra rigid design fairing is Thule's latest and best generation. Updated mounting hardware creates a more snug fit on both square and Rapid Aero Thule roof rack bars than previous generations. • Will the Thule Fairing Work on the Thule Aeroblade Load Bars
  
• I went out into our warehouse and pulled a Thule Fairing # TH872XT as well as a set of Thule AeroBlade Load Bars # THARB53 and found that the fairing will not install onto the Aeroblade load bars. I then contacted our rep at Thule and she informed me that there is no need for a fairing on the Aeroblade bars because they are aerodynamically designed so that they will not create any wind noise.
