• The Thule Spirit 1600 XT Roof Rack Cargo Box, item # TH689USXT, is designed to fit a minimum cross bar spread of 23-5/8 inches, a maximum spread of 39 inches and a mounting width of 21-1/2 inches. There are a total of 4 QuickGrip mounts that use a knob inside the box to tighten two claw style hooks around the cross bar in each location. We have not had the chance to photo this box yet, so I do not have a picture on our site of the QuickGrip mounts at this time.

• In all likelihood, because the Thule Spirit 1600, # TH689USXT, is so long at 90-1/2 inches long (over 7-1/2 feet) it is going to hang over the front or rear edge of the roof if not both. The box can be adjusted to be more forward or back on the roof. In the forward most position, from the center of the rear crossbar to the hatch when opened on the vehicle, you would need at least 25 inches of space for the box not to interfere with the hatch.
