Thule Accessories and Parts - TH532
Adapts factory installed roof racks to work with Thule roof top bike racks. The Ride-On clamps around the wide factory load bars and provides a smaller, secure attachment point for Thule bike racks.
Thule Ride-On Rooftop Bike Rack Adapter
Factory installed roof racks typically have larger load bars (those that run from the driver's to passenger's side of the vehicle). The Ride-On adapter has extra wide mounts so that it can be clamped to the larger load bars. The adapter then provides Thule standard load bars that allow for easy attachment of Thule roof mounted bike racks.

- Strong, level load bars create an ideal platform for bike carrier mounting.
- Universal mounting hardware clamps easily to existing, factory installed luggage rack.
- Tamper resistant hardware provides security.
- Works with Thule's Criterium, Big Mouth, V2, Velo Vise, Echelon, Peloton and Long Tray Classic fork mount carriers.

Video Transcript for Thule Ride-On Adapter Review
Today we are going to cover part number TH532 from Thule. This is Thules Ride-On Adapter, and what this device basically does is, it converts your existing roof rack from the factory to be able to use a variety of different Thule products on your roof rack. Basically, what this adapter does it, it actually stacks on top of your existing crossbar. This has to have the factory rack. It also has the bars going from left to right. It also comes with a special torque bit, here. This actually has a security bit that actually has a hollow point so not a regular torques bit can get in there and undo it, so you have a level of security built in right there. Now I will go ahead and just put this on a factory roof rack and give you a better idea of how it looks and how it works.
All right, let us go ahead and install one of the adapter bars. It is pretty simple. Get it on top of your factory roof rack crossbar here and get it even. And you simply take one of the clamps and put it on the bottom and screw it into place. All right, and with that your roof rack is ready to go with virtually any Thule accessory out there. And there you have it for part number TH532 from Thule.

- Canoe Carrier Recommendation for a 2010 Honda CR-V with Factory Roof Rack
- The Thule Ride-On Adapter, # TH532, really is too narrow for many watersport applications like your canoe and is only to be used with bike racks.
I recommend the Yakima Universal Foam Block Rooftop Canoe Carrier, # Y04055. These 4 blocks mount to the crossbars on your 2010 Honda CR-V and the canoe rests on top of the blocks. The kit comes with protective pads and straps, hooks and tie-downs to secure the canoe to the vehicle.

Since you mentioned the Thule products, you might want to look at the SportRack Nomad carrier, # ABR611. This is a very nice rack and the parent company of SportRack is Thule so the quality is very good.
