The Peloton Carrier fits all disc brake and suspension form combinations with standard 9mm axles. Also, its dual locking design locks the bike to the carrier and the carrier to the load carrying system.
The fork mount tightness is adjusted with a wheel which is accessed by lifting the front end cover of the bike rack. This is done by sliding the gray tab up. This adjustment knob can also be locked with one of Thule's One Key Lock System cores. The lock would secure the bike to the rack and the rack to the roof load bars.
The tightness of the fork mount is adjusted easily with the thumb wheel.

The world's best selling fork mount bike carrier just got a makeover. From road bikes to disc brakes to fat tires, the Peloton is up to the challenge.

Today we are going to show you part number TH517 from Thule, this is the Peloton. This is their bicycle rack that fits on top of most of the Thule roof racks assemblies out there. This is a bicycle rack that requires you to remove the front wheel to install it on the rack. We will go ahead and show you how it is done. The Peloton bike rack actually clamps onto these bars right here. There are 2 bolts that can come down from the rack itself and then there is a plate right here that tightens it on. Then up front of the vehicle there is a u-bolt that goes to the front cross bar. That is attached by 2 screws underneath the hood right here.
To show you a close up on how this rack works, the forks of the bike go into these bolts here, one on each side. There is actually a clamping system. So when you actually put the fork in and push down on the lever it clamps down and holds the forks securely in place. The tension is adjusted by this spin wheel inside of here. This actually tightens it going forward and going backwards actually releases the tension. And that controls how much tension these clamp down on the forks. When you do have it securely in place you can use the Thule locking system which installs right here. It also has a nice little cover when you are not using it. The rear tire on the wheel is held into place by this strap right here. It simply goes around the wheel and goes to this buckle. You push down on it and it ratchets and then synches light. OK, we will install a bike on this rack, and again you have to have the front wheel removed to use this rack. Alright, and there you have it for part number TH517 from Thule, the Peloton bicycle rack.
