No more having to keep track of multiple keys. Replace the lock cores on your Thule products with these keyed-alike cylinders so that all of your racks and accessories can be locked and unlocked with a single key.
Features:
Thule's One-Key System makes it easy to secure all of your Thule accessories with just one key. This kit includes two keyed-alike lock cylinders that are designed to either mount in the empty lock core sockets of your Thule rack or replace your rack's existing cores.

Thule foot packs for roof-rack systems come ready to accept One-Key System (OKS) cylinders. Each base has an area built in for mounting a lock core. Just install the core in the foot and pop out the plastic lock plug on the removable handle assembly.

Many Thule accessories come standard with locks. If you have a Thule ski carrier, for example, you must remove the existing lock cores so that you can install the new OKS cylinders to make all your Thule accessories keyed alike. To do this, unlock the cylinders on your rack. Then insert the universal control key included with the OKS cylinders into each unlocked core to remove it. You may have to wiggle the key a bit to work the core loose. Once the existing cores have been removed, pop in the new OKS ones and you're good to go.
If you have a new Thule accessory that you would like to have keyed to match your other Thule products and you would rather not switch out all your lock cores, then you can add a replacement lock cylinder (THLOCK - sold separately) instead. The replacement cylinder will be designed to accept the same key as your existing Thule products. Just provide the number that is imprinted on your existing cores when you purchase the replacement core, and Thule will make a cylinder to match.

Today we are going to show you the Thule Domestique fork-mounted bike carrier part number TH513. The Domestique is designed to mount not only on Thule square load bars but also round crossbars and most OEM style crossbars. Today we are going to be installing it on an OEM roof rack on a Volvo XC70. The Domestique uses a fork-mount for the front of the bike and includes a lockable stainless steel skewer. The installation is simple and requires no tools. We are going to take a quick look at how the rack is going to install once we get it on our vehicle. At the rear of the Domestique is a plate that slides into the track on the underside of the bike rack. You are going to need to orient this plate according to which side of the vehicle you are going to be placing the rack on. Since we are installing this rack on the driver side of our vehicle, we need to make sure that the portion of the plate that sticks out with the holes is on the opposite side. So this will actually be on the passenger side of the rack versus the driver side. The plate will sit on the top of the crossbar. You will use the other crossbar cap on the bottom and you will your three bolts in from above. 1:11
Check the instructions to find your vehicle if you are using OEM crossbars or the model of crossbars that you are using to find out which length bolt you need to use. Since we are using the OEM rack on our Volvo today, we are going to need the short bolts rather than the long. Next we are going to set the rack on top of the crossbars. We will make sure that we line the front mount of the rack up with the crossbar in the front and get it centered. At the rear of the vehicle we will slide our plate and get it lined up again over the center of our crossbar. Once we have that about where we need it, we will get our bottom halves of the mounts and the bolts and begin attaching it to the vehicle. At the front we have our plate and our three bolts. We will take the included allen key and begin to tighten the bolt. We will grab our other two bolts and them in the front mounting holes. Do not tighten them down yet. Just get all three started and we will tighten them down evenly so that we make sure we have a good connection to our crossbar. With our front mount tightened down, we will move on to the rear. 2:20
The process is much the same in the rear. We will feed the bottom half of our mount underneath our crossbar and our bolts in from above. And again we will use the included allen key to tighten the mount down. We will hop back and forth between the two bolts to make sure that we tighten evenly on our crossbar. Next we are ready to install the skewer for attaching the front fork of the bike. We will slide the skewer through the front channel making sure that the handle faces whichever side you will be loading the bike from, in this case the driver side. Once we have the skewer in, we will put the skewer body and nut on the other side. The ratcheting skewer nut and body is what we are going to use to adjust the skewer for varying for thicknesses. 3:25
Now we are ready to test fit our bike. The Domestique will fit bikes with wheel bases up to 48 inches and tire widths up to 2.6 inches. Place the rear wheel in the tray, open the skewer handle and the fork down. When you close the handle, the skewer will bite down onto the fork. It looks like we have a pretty solid hold. If the skewer is too tight or too loose all you have to do is pull the body back, back the nut off. There we go. We have a little bit of resistance when we close our latch. We have a nice firm grip on the front fork. Now we will move back to the rear and adjust the strap on the rear wheel. We will feed the strap through our wheel and come down into the ratcheting buckle. We will take the metal lever and we will start to ratchet down the strap. If we need to, we can adjust the position of the strap. We have a little bit of room so we are just going to push it a little bit forward so that we are closer towards the center of our wheel. And we will continue ratcheting until we get the wheel tight. 4:50
If you do not have room to store the wheel inside the vehicle, you can use the Thule Wheel-On roof mounted bike wheel carrier. The wheel carrier adds a place for you to attach the front wheel of your bike. The Wheel-On is part number TH593. If you want to add the Thule one key lock system, you can use part number TH512 that will provide a pair of lock cylinders and a pair of keys. And there you have it for the Thule Domestique fork-mounted bike carrier, part number TH513.

Purchased Thule Cable Lock (TH538XT), Thule Snug Tight Hitch Lock (THSTL2), and Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders (TH512). Everything arrived quickly and all the parts integrated together. My transaction with etrailer.com was great and priced competitively. My only criticism is with Thule. I wish that they created bundles with their assessories to have one lock mechanism so that I would not have had to purchase additional lock cylinders to just have one key for the cable and hitch lock. I now have two lock cylinders and keys that I will not use. I'm still happy with the purchase and will most certainly use etailer.com again. Thanks, Paul71898

Ordered two additional cylinders for our new T2 rack (which only has three cylinders supplied for 5 locking positions). Cylinders on the rack are key number N175. Of course the extra cylinders had a different number, 188. Am attempting to rectify this problem at this time.24531
