You will find that it is just as easy to remove them. Unlike typical snow chains, there are no attachments to be made behind the tire. Simply place two of the chains traction plates on top of the tire, then fasten the K-Summit to the wheel's lug nut or bolt. Lastly, activate the chain's ratcheting mechanism. Now you are ready to roll. As you drive away, K-Summit adjusts to conform to the tire perfectly. Tension springs adjust within the chain for a precise fit, even on tires with different degrees of wear. After use, fold up the tire chains for storage in the compact carrying case provided.
