• The plate that the winch mounts to is 1/4 inch thick. This mount has 2 sets of four (eight) holes, centered on the cable opening, in a rectangular pattern for mounting the winch to the plate and the measurements are 4-1/2 by 4 inches on center and 10 by 4-1/2 inches on center.

• You will need to check the bolt hole mounting pattern of your Superwinch LP8500 but we do offer several hitch mounted winch mounting plates that may work. First, we have the Draw-Tite Mounting Plate, # 6495. The mounting hole dimensions for it can be found on the product page, below the description. Next we have the Curt Mounting Plate, # C31010. On it, the first set of mounting holes are 10 by 4-1/2 inches, and the second set of mounting holes measure 6-1/2 by 4-1/2 inches center to center.
