  • There is not a wiring schematic provided with the Replacement Switch for Superwinch T1500, EX and X Series Winches, item # SW1519A. You will need to connect the red wire to the circuit breaker terminal and the other side of the circuit breaker should be connected to the vehicle positive battery post, the black wire is connected to the negative terminal on the battery or a solid metal ground point.

  • I checked with my contact at Superwinch, and the # SW1519A replacement switch will fit the old style S2500 winches. To check the style of your unit, look for two studs at the end of the winch, coming off the motor. If these studs are present, your winch would be compatible with the # 1519A switch.

  • The Superwinch Replacement Switch, part # SW1519A, will fit your old style Superwinch S2500 winch with the two studs on the end. This is a repair switch with a 3 ft. Wire Pigtail and it fits the S and X Series direct switch models. I also have the Superwinch Three Position Heavy Duty Rotary Switch, part # SW1591, that is a rotary switch that fits the old style Superwinch S2500. I am including installation instructions on this rotary switch.

  • For the Superwinch T1500 winch, I have the Replacement Toggle Switch for Superwinch T2000 and ATV Winches, part # SW2233B. This switch comes with the rocker switch, mounting box, and mounting bracket and hardware. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the part # SW2233B. The Replacement Switch for Superwinch T1500, EX and X Series Winches, part # SW1519A, will also work on your T1500 winch. It is just the switch with a 3 foot wire pigtail and no mounting hardware.
