By giving a 4" vertical boost to 2" hitch-mounted rack devices, this adapter prevents bikes and racks from scraping the ground. It docks in 2" receiver tubes, and its anti-rattle, locking hitch pin fortifies against theft.

Specs:
- Fit: 2" hitch accessories and 2" hitches
- Rise: 4" from the top of the hitch receiver tube to the top of the hitch adapter
- Distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the upright bar is: 5-1/2" or 8"
Note: Do not use for towing. Designed specifically for use with Softride bike racks. Cannot be used with cargo carriers.
This convenient adapter raises 2" hitch accessories 4" above a vehicle's receiver tube, eliminating the threat of low clearance. An anti-rattle hitch bolt (sold separately: #SR25056) locks it into a 2" receiver tube to guard against theft.
