Shopped for d-ring tie downs for attaching Yamaha Rhino to wood decked trailer. Used these at 4 locations with fender washers on the underside of 2x 6's. They work good with snap hook ratcheting tie downs.41327

Easy to mount to van floor to hold motorcycle. Sqaure holes allow use for carraige bolts so I didnt need someone inside while I tightened them from underneath.36256

Where do I Install D-Ring Tie Downs on a 6x10 Wood Bed Utility Trailer
You can attach D-Ring Tie Downs most anywhere on a trailer. You need to select the location based upon what you need to tie-down. When possible, it would be best to drill through metal to install the rings. You can mount them to the wood planks, but they will not be able to bear as much weight. Over time as the wood rots, you can end up with the rings pulling out of the wood. Whenever possible, going through the metal frame of the trailer or using a steel backing plate would be the best way t

Is Hardware Included in the Brophy Trailer D-Ring Tie Down # SR15-C
The Brophy Trailer D-Ring Tie Down, part # SR15-C, does not include any mounting bolts. I went out in the warehouse and measured the size of the holes for mounting and they measured 7/16 inch x 7/16 inch. So you will want to use something smaller than 7/16 inch.
