These will certainly provide enough light. My concern would be that they provide too much light and would considered rear-facing headlights. There are DOT restrictions about how bright rear-ward facing lights can be so as drivers behind you are not blinded. The Custer Halogen Light you were looking at does not comply with this regulation.
I would suggest instead, using brighter reverse lights. We have several backup LED lights that will be brighter than standard incandescent lights, but are p view full answer...
