The Swagman Trailhead hitch-mounted bike rack carries two bikes on dual arms that provide superior stability during transport. The dual arms easily fold down for storage - just pull a pin - and each arm features an integrated reflector at its tip.
The Trailhead has anti-sway cradles that rotate and slide along the dual arms to perfectly position your specific bicycles, reducing the need for a bike adapter bar. The cradles include durable rubber straps to hold your bikes firmly in place on the rack. Because the cradles secure each bike at three places (twice along the top tube and once along the seat post or down tube), rocking back and forth is virtually eliminated, preventing bike-to-bike contact.
Trailhead tilts forward, away from your vehicle, when you remove a pin at the base. This allows easy access to your vehicle's rear cargo area.
The Trailhead includes a two-piece adapter that installs over the shank to convert your rack for use on 2" hitch receivers. For 1-1/4" hitch receivers, use the rack without the adapter.
Trailhead comes with an anti-rattle, threaded hitch pin and clip to secure the rack to your trailer hitch and eliminate rattle during transport. To lock your rack to the hitch, replace the pin and clip with Swagman's anti-rattle lock (S64029; sold separately).

My Swagman Trailhead 2-bike carrier arrived on time and was easy to assemble. Both bikes fit nicely on the carrier (even the female style bike for my wife). I’ve taken the bikes out on a short test drive and both remained secure. I had contemplated buying the cheaper Road Gear bike rack, but was glad I upgraded to the Swagman. folds up nice, fits womans frame without adapter bar and holds our bikes very secure, I changed all the bolts to marine grade stainless steel,cost about $ 14.00, but I hate rust !!!. I also bungy cord the wheels to stop them from spinning while driving, ( it drives people behind you at nite NUTS, been their !!

We always recommend a hitch and hitch rack for several reasons. Hitch racks, unlike trunk racks, do not make contact with painted vehicle surfaces so there is a lesser chance of scratching. Having a hitch on the car will allow you to use other accessories whether that is towing a trailer or using a cargo carrier.

On the Swagman Trailhead Hitch Bike Rack, # S63360, the hitch pin is a threaded bolt (no nut) and uses a clip. The hitch pin will thread into the shank of the bike rack and then after it is tightened down the clip is inserted through the hitch pin.

There is a good possibility that the Swagman Trailhead, # S63360, will clear the spare tire on your 2007 Hummer H3 as this rack has a fair amount of clearance. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the upright bar, the distance is 14-1/2 inches.

The part of the frame that is 1-1/2 inches wide will be slightly over the edge on the cradle but the strap will still be able to go around the frame and hold it into place.

I believe I have something that would work for you, but I spoke to my contact at Swagman and he informed me that this TrailHead Rack # S63360 would most likely interfere with you opening the tailgate of your Toyota Tacoma. But since it has never been tested on your vehicle (as far as we know) we cannot say with 100% certainty if it will or not.

Given the offset spare tire on the rear of that generation Rav4, either the Yakima SpareTime, part # Y02598 or the Thule Spare Me, part # TH963XTR would work just fine for you. The mounting system allows the rack to be attached to the spare tire so that it is offset toward the center of the tail gate, so that the bicycles will be more centered on the rear of the vehicle.
