This is a rectangular, surface mount porch and utility light with switch. This clear light measures 6" long x 3-1/2quot; wide x 2" deep. The slightly angled, white, molded plastic housing and durable lens provide all-weather protection against corrosion. This light has been tested and approved by both UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and the CSA (Canadian Standards Assoc.). The light features traditional styling with a replaceable, snap-on lens and easy-to-replace bulb. The light also features a toggle-button on/off switch. This light surface mounts by mounting holes in the base. The two-wire design includes the lead wire for power and a ground wire for mounting to any surface.

Today we are going to show you Optronics RV rectangular porch and utility light with switch, part number RVPL3C. Both the lens and the bulb on this light are replaceable. It is a two wire design, meaning you will have a white wire for ground and the black wire will be used for our power. On the underside of the light is an on/off switch. Next we will hook it up to a power supply so you can see how the light looks. Connect our white wire to our ground and our black wire to our power. And we will turn the light on. Next we will turn off the overhead light to show you how bright the light is. And that does it for Optronics RV rectangular porch and utility light, part number RVPL3C.

in most applications this would replace an existing light of this type. If you are looking to install it new it is a pain to install. The mounting system required lots of drilling and access to the backside of the wall.30867
