This is a rectangular, surface mount porch and utility light. This amber light measures 6-3/8" long x 3-1/2quot; wide x 2-3/32" deep. The slightly angled, white, molded plastic housing and durable lens provide all-weather protection against corrosion. This light has been tested and approved by both UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and the CSA (Canadian Standards Assoc.). The light features traditional styling with a replaceable, snap-on lens and easy-to-replace bulb. This light surface mounts by mounting holes in the base. The two-wire design includes the lead wire for power and a ground wire for mounting to any surface.

Today we are going to show you Optronics RV rectangular porch and utility light in amber, part number RVPL1A. Both the lens and the bulb on this light are replaceable. It is designed to surface mount on your trailer and uses a two wire design, meaning one wire will be for our ground connection and the other wire will be our power. Next we will hook the light up to a power supply so you can see how it looks. Connect the white wire to our ground and the black wire to our power.
