Shank offers a 6-1/2" drop when used with round-bar systems and a 5-3/4" drop when used with trunnion-bar models. Cannot be used in rise position.

• Fits: 2" x 2" trailer hitch receivers

Exactly what i needed. Heavy, well made and nice finish. I installed a 2" lift in rear in my truck and 35" tires so the old shank was just to high off the ground. With this shank my camper sits level. 48573

I normally tow my vintage Airstream with a vintage, 3/4-ton Suburban whose 7.4l engine has quite the taste for mid-grade gasoline. Economics has forced me to consider towing with my wife's '09 Yukon which has an incredibly high receiver hitch. Etrailer had just the shank I needed (the black part in the picture) at a great price to make everything work. And it got here quickly. I'm now literally a happy camper.41555

When I switched to a bigger tow vehicle I needed a longer shank to increased the hitch drop another 2.25 inches to keep my trailer level. The detailed info on the product page gave me what I needed to know - 63971 would provide the drop I needed but would not be too long to cause bottoming-out concerns. After installation the hitch mount sits at the desired drop and still has 2 adjustment holes at the top of the shank and 1 at the bottom - perfect! Also, ET's price + shipping was very competitive and delivery was prompt.35504
