- The car side quick disconnects are bolted directly to the base plates installed on the frame of your vehicle, and are then attached to the quick disconnects on the tow bar side.
For the 1998 Jeep Wrangler, You would use base plate kit # 1424-1 if your 1998 Jeep Wrangler is a Rubicon, Unlimited, or double tube bumper model. If your vehicle has a U-channel bumper, you would use base plate kit # 1417-1.

- To attach the crossbar from your Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar to the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit -Removable Arms, part # 523145-5. on your 2011 Chevrolet Malibu you will need the RoadMaster Quick Disconnects - Car Side Only, part # RM-222. These car side quick disconnects will bolt to the EZ base plates on your vehicle and allow the crossbar to be connected.
