The leading cause of tow system failure is an "out of level" tow bar-when the tow bar is at an upward or downward slope. The accessories in this section allow you to connect your tow bar at a safe level height.

• The Roadmaster Hi-Lo Adapter, part # RM-048-4 is meant and designed to be used when towing a vehicle using a tow bar. Roadmaster has not tested it for the use you propose, so I cannot recommend it. The Valley Multi-Purpose Ball Mount, part # V75090, would work well for your needs, and would raise the bottom of the cargo carrier by 5-1/4 inches.
