- I spoke with my contact at Pollak and found that the Pollak 7-Circuit-Breaker Junction Box, item # PK52249, has a metal bar in the bottom of the junction box that is designed to accept metal base circuit breakers that do not have a mounting bracket attached to the bottom. These circuit breakers have recesses in the bottom that accept the studs sticking up from the metal bar in the junction box. There are no directions available for the junction box.

With the mounting holes on the left and the right the length (right to left) from one edge of the mounting hole tab to edge of the other mounting hole tab is 8-11/16 inches. The dimension from center of one mounting hole to the center of the other mounting hole is 8-5/64 inches.
Width is 3-3/4 inches. The dimension from mounting hole center to other mounting hole center is 3-3/16 inches.

- On the Pollak 7-Circuit-Breaker Junction Box, # PK52249, the bus bar is the common power point for all of the circuit breakers attached to it. You would connect power to one of the studs at either end of the bar to supply power for all the breakers.
The bus bar was also designed to dissipate excess heat generated from the items attached to the circuit breakers in the box. The box accepts studded circuit breakers like # PK54-120, # PK54-130, and # PK54-140.
