Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness Installation - 2006 Ford F-350

Video Transcript for Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness Installation - 2006 Ford F-350

Today on this 2006 Ford F350, well be installing the Pollack T-One connector part number pk11893-11932. We will start off at the bumper of the vehicle where you will find the previously installed 7 pole with a gray locking tab on it. We will undo the lock and pull the 7 pole free, but first we will need to loosen this bracket here for more working room. With everything separated we will start installing the T- One harness and lock it into position. Now that we have made our connections underneath we need to go ahead and drill a hole so that we can mount our connector in the bed. It is recommended that you have a minimum five inch clearance behind where ever you are going to drill.

Now we will take the other end of our new wiring harness, feed it up behind the fender and out the hole we just drilled. With our wiring through the hole we can now put it in our new connector. Following the numbers and colors listed in the instructions, you want to match it up to the numbers that are on the back of your connector. Make sure you press them in firmly so they lock in place, give it a little tug to make sure. You want to make sure you do the center pin before you complete all the others first.

With all of our wires in place we can go ahead and install our locking tab. Now with all of our wires installed and our locking tab in place we can go ahead and put our connectors together and push in on our gray locking tab to secure it. With all of our wires connected we can go ahead and secure our new 7 pole connection, I am going to use self tapping screws. That completes the installation of our new Pollak 7 pole connector. .

  • Options for Adding a 7-Way Trailer Plug in the Bed of a 1995 Ford F-250HD for a Gooseneck Trailer
  • For your 1995 Ford F-250 HD, I recommend the 7-Way Connector 7 Foot Loop, # 20027. This harness plugs into your existing 7-Way. You can then route the cable how you want to the bed of the truck. I recommend drilling a hole in the side of the bed rail, routing the cable down through the bed rail to the bottom of the truck, and then mounting the end for your trailer in the bed where you drilled the hole. You can then route the other end under the truck and connect it to your existing 7-Way. Th

  • Pollak 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Connector Recommendation for a 2000 Ford F350
  • I spoke with my contact at Pollack and he informed that the Pollak 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Connector Wiring, part # PK11932, would be the harness that you would need for your 2000 Ford F-350. The wires of the # 12-705 should wire up color for color to the # PK11932, and as long as take your time and use plenty of electrical tape to insulate the wires after you connect them you should not have to worry about damaging any components. When I spoke with my contact at Pollack he strong

  • Availability of a 7-Way 5th Wheel Trailer Connector for a 2005 Toyota Tundra
  • For the 2005 Toyota Tundra with factory installed 7-Way trailer connector, a custom fit 5th wheel/gooseneck truck bed wiring harness that plugs in line with the factory wiring is not available. but there are options. If your existing connector does not have the round connector plugged into the back, you will need to splice in a harness like the 7-Way Pre-Wired Connector, item # 20023, see video link. Another option would be to use an extension like the 7-Way Connector 7 foot Loop, item # 2002
