• The best way to determine whether or not the connector is functioning as it should would be to use a circuit tester, part # 3808 if needed, and test the prongs in the plug for power. You can see some diagrams for the different plug configurations at the link I provided. • The Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, # PK11893-11933, will not fit a 1999 Dodge Ram. We did some testing with a harness that is a fit, # 20111, and the Pollak part is pinned out differently than the connector on the truck. What you can do is just plug # 20111 in line with the factory wiring harness and use it to replace the 7-Way at the back of your truck.
