This armored LED light assembly can be used as a clearance or side marker light. This PC-rated light functions as both a marker and clearance light when mounted properly at a 45 degree angle. This amber light measures 4-1/2" long x 2" wide x 1-1/2" deep. The housing is armored die-cast steel for strength and durability in all environmental conditions, and includes a gasket for a weathertight seal against the elements. This light has 6 light-emitting diodes which draw 0.160 amps at 12.8 volts. This light mounts on 3-7/8" centers, and the two-wire design includes the lead and ground wires to mount to any surface.

Today we are going to take a look at Optronics Sealed Steel Armored LED Trailer Clearance Light, part number MCL86AB. This light has 6 LEDs that draw a total of .160 amps at 12.8 volts. The lens of this light is replaceable and the surface mounts are designed to mount with 3-7/8 inch on center holes. Included with the light is a foam gasket to help it seal against your trailer. It is a 2 wire design with one wire with an eye terminal for your ground and the other wire is your power. Next, we will hook it up to a power suppply, so you can see how the light looks. We will connect to the eye terminal with our ground and the other wire with our power. Next, we will turn off the overhead lights so you can see how bright it is.
