This square light can be used as a clearance or side marker light. The amber lens is reflectorized, meaning that a separate reflector is not needed for DOT compliance. The light measures 2-3/4" long x 2-1/8" wide x 1" deep. The molded plastic housing and durable lens provide all-weather protection against corrosion. The light features a replaceable, screw-down lens and easy-to-replace bulb. The light contains a single lead wire for power and is grounded through the mounting stud.

Today we are going to show you Optronics Square Trailer Clearance Light, part number MC36AB. This light features a reflectorized lens that is DOT compliant. Both the lens and the bulb are replaceable, so you can continue to use the light for a long time. It is a single wire design, meaning our wire lead provides our power and the mounting stud on the back doubles as our electrical ground. Next we will take a power supply and show you how the light looks. We will take our ground connection and clip it to the mounting stud, and we will take our power source and clip it to the wire lead. This was an exact replacement size and installatio wise. Wish the description had indicated that it included the bulb as well as I ordered two lamps that I will probably never use. As it shows, there was a small section of wiring for a connection that was different from the plug in connection on my original light that made the installation slightly longer as I had to find a couple of crimp connectors to make the connection. Otherwise great replacement.15651
