This rectangular light with rounded corners can be used as a clearance or side marker light. The red lens is reflectorized, meaning that a separate reflector is not needed for DOT compliance. The light measures 4" long x 2" wide x 1-1/8" deep. The molded plastic housing and durable lens provide all-weather protection against corrosion. The light features a replaceable, snap-on lens and easy-to-replace bulb. This light has a twist-in socket with both lead and ground wires for mounting to any surface.

Here we have Optronics rectangular trailer clearance and side marker light, part number MC32RB. The lens of this light is reflectorized to DOT standards. Both the bulb and the lens are user replaceable. The back of the light is designed to surface mount to your trailer using mounting holes that are 3 inches on center. The light utilizes a two wire design, meaning you have two wire leads, one for ground and one for power. Next we will hook up the light to a power supply so you can see how it looks. We will connect one of the wire leads to our ground connection and the other to our power. Next we will turn off the overhead lights so you can see how bright the light is. What can I say... these lights are "replacements" and not the OEM lights, but they are higher quality and better looking than the originals. Etrailer shipped them right out... they were shipped out the day I ordered them and on my doorstep 2 days later. When I took the originals off, I noticed they were in place by rivets, and I was nervous about drilling them out of my ABS trailer. However, it was no problem at all, and I'm so glad I took on this project. I replaced 11 lights and both brake lights, and it has given my 1996 trailer a much needed facelift. The old lights were tired, and the bases were black. The new lights have white bases and they they are MUCH brighter and more vibrant. The lenses fit snug. Oh, and the price was incredible. These lights are really good for the price! (I ordered 16) They aren't cheap feeling or flimsy. They feel sturdy, durable and they look quality. The wires are the correct gauge and the light bulb is in a rubber grommet for weather sealing. The light is sealed very well and it takes some effort to remove the lens cover. The lens is thick and the color is true. The reflector is bright. I was genuinely impressed with lights especially for the cost. These will be replacing older side marker and clearance lights on my older 1985 Sunstream motor home. My lights are faded, some broken, mostly leaking and more costly to replace than what they are worth. These MC32RB and the Amber version lights will look great! Slightly different style, same size and better looking and better quality than the originals. Very happy with lights and etrailer. Will be ordering more items. Thanks. G. 72714
