This rectangular light with rounded corners can be used as a clearance or side marker light. The red lens is reflectorized, meaning that a separate reflector is not needed for DOT compliance. The light measures 4" long x 2" wide x 1-1/8" deep. The molded plastic housing and durable lens provide all-weather protection against corrosion. The light features a replaceable, snap-on lens and easy-to-replace bulb. This light has a twist-in socket with both lead and ground wires for mounting to any surface.

Here we have Optronics rectangular trailer clearance and side marker light, part number MC32RB. The lens of this light is reflectorized to DOT standards. Both the bulb and the lens are user replaceable. The back of the light is designed to surface mount to your trailer using mounting holes that are 3 inches on center. The light utilizes a two wire design, meaning you have two wire leads, one for ground and one for power. Next we will hook up the light to a power supply so you can see how it looks. We will connect one of the wire leads to our ground connection and the other to our power. Next we will turn off the overhead lights so you can see how bright the light is.
