TracRac System

Use these CargoBuckle tie-down straps in conjunction with TracRac's sliding load stops or built-in anchor points. They mount in the slotted crossbars of the ladder rack and make it easy to quickly secure ladders, equipment and cargo with one hand.

CargoBuckle's TracRac ratchet straps are designed to keep constant tension on the strap and require minimal ratcheting to secure your load. When not in use, the strap retracts into the ratchet housing, meaning no more having to deal with tangled straps.

Note: Tie-down straps should always be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL) and always used in pairs. The item being tied down must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 1,500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 3,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure the load. To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the tie-down strap, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load.

Video Transcript for CargoBuckle Ratcheting Tie-Downs for TracRac Systems Review

Today were going to take a look at CargoBuckle's Retractable, Ratcheting Tie-Downs, part number IMF104933. These ratchet tie-downs are designed to work with TracRac ladder rack systems. The cargo buckle for the TracRac system force some work to a ratchet strap; however, it automatically retracts when you release the cable, pulling to hit all the way up, and pulling the strap out. But it automatically retracts and slides back in. Theres a mounting hole in the base of the cargo buckle that well use to attach it to the crossbars of our TracRac ladder rack. Were going to use this T-bolt with washer and lock nut to secure it.

Were going to take our stainless T-bolt, drop into our slot and slide it down where we want it. Next well take the cargo buckle system, fit it over the T-bolt and then drop down our washer and lock nut. Take a wrench and tighten the nut down. We have the cargo buckle unlocked. So now we can pull it out, and go up and over our load, and attach to an anchor point further down the crossbar.

And we can take our handle, put it back in lock position and the cargo buckle will automatically tighten down. And if you need to add additional tension, it works again just like a regular ratchet strap and you can get a secure grip on whatever cargo youre transporting. Thats it for the TracRac CargoBuckle's Retractable, Ratcheting Tie-Downs, part number IMF104933. .

These things work great! They don't swivel as much as I thought that they would, and they are HUGE, I expected them to be a lot smaller than they are. They are Gigantic. Other than that they work great.55604
