This is a round, surface mount, interior dome light. The light measures 5-7/8" in diameter by 1-1/2" deep. This interior dome light has an opaque white lens, polished aluminum base, and a push-button on/off switch. The light features an easy-to-replace bulb. This light surface mounts through the three mounting holes spaced equally on the base at 4-3/4" apart. The wiring design contains the lead wire for power and is grounded through the mounting hardware.

Today we are going to show you Optronics Trailer Dome Light with switch and aluminum base, part number IL61CB. This light has a user replaceable bulb. It also has a push button on off switch to control the light. Its designed to surface mount using three holes that are drilled in the aluminum base. Its a single wire design meaning it will ground through the aluminum base and will have a single wire lead for our power connection.
Next we will hook up the light to a power supply so you can see what it looks like when lit up. Well connect our ground connection to the aluminum base, and our power connection to our wire lead.
