• No, once the Hopkins Tire Pressure Monitoring System sensors, # HM30101VA, are screwed onto the valve stem the battery system is activated for tire pressure monitoring. The batteries in the sensors are not user replaceable so replacements sensors are required when the battery power is diminished. If you have a RV that is stored for extended periods, removing the sensors, which will deactivate them, and storing them would be a good idea, especially in cold weather.
