Today, we're going to do a review on part number F222000301, the Fulton Fas-Lok Trailer Coupler design to fit a 2" hitch ball, fits on a 2" channel. This coupler is a trigger latch style. It has a Z-Max 600 finish. It offers superior corrosion resistance. It does fit a hitch ball size of 2". The channel, we'll measure that it fits on is 2" wide.

And other measurement we will need is the diameter. The distance between the side mounting holes, we'll measure center-to-center would be 3". This coupler has a weight capacity of 3,500 pounds. And that should do it for a review of part number F222000301.

Availability of Trailer Coupler With Mounting Hole Spacing of 2-1/8 Inches For 1983 Viscount Caravan
Anytime you modify a part, it can compromise the safety and integrity of that product. I can not recommend to modify the Fulton Trailer Coupler, part # F222000301. I do not have any bolt-on couplers with a mounting hole spacing of 2-1/8 inches. The mounting holes are all at the industry standard of 3 inches. You might look at using a weld-on coupler like the Atwood Trailer Coupler, part # 80081. This is a 2 inch ball size and fits a 2 inch wide channel tongue. It has a trailer weight capac

Bolts to Install Fulton Fas-Lok Coupler Part # F222000301
To bolt the Fulton Fas-Lok Coupler in place, I would recommend using two 1/2 inch by 2-1/2 or 2-3/4 inch grade 8 bolts. We do not offer the bolts, but they should be readily available at your local hardware store.
