If the tongue weight of the trailer is exactly 1600 lbs and the trailer has a wheel on it and you should hit a small obstruction with the jack wheel while moving the trailer, the jack will probably bend. From the bottom of the wheel to the center of the mount is 12-1/4 inches. Jacks that can get very low are the rack and gear type, like # BD161300. With this jack, though, you are looking at only 750 pounds capacity. If the tongue weight of your loaded trailer is under that this may be a viable option.
