A fine pin and clip for attaching a tow bar into your receiver. I prefer this one - where the pin fits through a hole in the end of the clip - rather than the set where the clip merely snaps onto a groove at the end of the clip. This one just seems more secure in my opinion.55465

Why Does my 2 Inch Hitch have a 1/2 in Pin Hole and a 5/8 in Pin hole
The Curt Pin and Clip # F-4 that you referenced is designed to work on 1-1/4 inch hitches. The reason your hitch has a 1/2 inch hole and a 5/8 inch hole is because it is setup for an anti-rattle device like the Draw Tite J-Pin # 63201. I attached a picture of this device being used on a hitch like yours for you to check out. I also attached a review video for this product for you to check out also. This 1/2 inch hole is not designed to be use as a hitch pin hole, you will want to use 5/8 inch
