Edge Products Juice Module
The Juice is an add-on Engine Control Module (ECM) for the Cummins Engine that offers additional features not available with the factory setup. Since it is an add-on ECM, it uses all the factory data, and then enhances the factory settings to optimize your truck's performance. The Edge Juice is a completely weatherproof module that easily installs underneath the hood.
Using factory-style connections in just ten minutes you can add five levels of adjustable power ranging from 25 to 100 horsepower – and increase torque up to 250 ft. lbs. The connectors on the Juice module are plugged into all three stock injector locations, the MAP sensor and the data link connector. To monitor the Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT), a hole must be drilled into the exhaust manifold and the included thermocouple must be inserted. Because diesel trucks will continue to make power as more fuel is added, the engine can become too hot and start to melt different components. EGT is the best indicator of how hot the motor is and the Edge module will automatically defuel the truck when EGTs reach a certain temperature protecting the engine.
When the Juice is used with the Edge A2 monitor allows you to control five power levels on-the-fly from inside your truck. The A2 displays all the information a complete set of gauges would. It monitors and displays exhaust gas temperature (EGT), turbo boost and transmission slip and will defuel the engine to prevent damage if any of these parameters exceed a specific level. The A2 also displays 0 – 60 times, quarter mile times and actual speed if you are using non-stock tires as well as a host of other parameters.
