Eliminate tangling and dragging of excess webbing with Erickson's Tie-Down Tamer. Secure your load, ratchet the strap in place, then wrap up and lock all the extra webbing for a clean-looking, hassle-free tie-down.

Features:

  • Tie-down secures your cargo
  • Tie-Down Tamer keeps extra webbing coiled and stored - no dragging, tangling or blowing in the wind
  • Ratcheting device is easy and efficient
  • Double J-hook is durable and long lasting
    • Constructed of heat-treated, chromate-plated, low-carbon steel

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 2" wide x 27' long
  • Maximum load (break strength): 10,000 lbs
    • Safe working load limit: 3,300 lbs

Please note: Tie-down straps should always be chosen according to their Safe Working Load Limit (WLL). The item being tied down must not exceed this weight. If the working load limit is not given, simply divide the maximum capacity, or break strength, by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load.

Tie-Down Tamer

Erickson's patented Tie-Down Tamer lets you easily store the excess webbing of your ratchet strap in three simple steps. Once the tie-down is secured in place, take the extra strap and feed it into the slot on the storage handle, wrap until tight, and lock into place. Two separate tightening knobs allow you to apply more pressure, thus coiling the webbing even tighter for increased security.
