This is an aluminum ball mount from Diversi-Tech, part number DTBM5400. Diversi-Tech ball mounts are made of a single piece of aircraft grade billet aluminum, they are machined from a solid block of aluminum. This ball mount is rated for up to 14,000 lbs gross trailer weight or 2,000 lbs tongue weight. When used in the position, it provides 4 inches of , from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform. When flipped over and used in the rise position, it offers 3 inches of rise from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform. Diversi-Tech also builds in spring-loaded, stainless steel, anti-rattle balls. These balls help reduce some of the rattle noise from the ball mount being inside of your hitch. Exceptional Product Used to to a 14K GVWR trailer on a daily basis. No signs of stress after a year of hard service. Only negative is the spring loaded anti rattle balls. They fall out within a few months if you swap draw bars even once a week. This does not affect towing performance, but does allow the draw bar to rattle in the receiver when not coupled to a trailer. 2933

What are the Dimensions for the Diversi-Tech Aluminum Trailer Hitch Ball Mount, # DTBM5400
I went out to the warehouse and pulled a Aluminum Trailer Hitch Ball Mount, # DTBM5400, to take some measurements. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the anti-rattle ball bearings on the top of the shank measures 1-7/8 inches. The overall length is 11-1/4 inches. And from the back of the shank to where it starts to slope down measures 5-3/8 inches. I have taken a few other measurements which can be seen in the image to the right.
