Note: Some 2-1/2" receivers are too wide for this lock. Draw-Tite and Reese brand Titan hitches with an 18,000 lb. towing capacity and 2010 or newer GM HD 2-1/2" receivers are too wide for this lock. The lock will not fit these receivers.

This is Diversi-Tech Chrome Plated Quarter Turn Hitch Lock for 2-1/2 Inch Trailer Hitches, part number DT31005. The lock is made of durable chrome plated steel. The pin measures 5/8 inches in diameter and is designed to fit all 2-1/2 inch by 2-1/2 inch trailer receiver tubes. The pin length is 3-1/4 inches and the overall length is 6-1/4 inches. The lock is a quarter turn lock to make locking and unlocking the pin quick and easy. It also features a waterproof dustcap to help keep dirt and moisture out of the locking cylinder. Great design fits perfectly and snugly into receiver and hitch tube. Plenty long to fit through 2.5" receiver. I like the style of key which is easilt distinguishable from all the other keys on my keyring.9882

Replacement Keys for a Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock
If you order part # DT31005, you cannot get a replacement key. However, we offer a similar lock that has the option of ordering replacement keys, should you loose one. The part number for the lock is # RH5-XL. The part number for the replacement key is # CTJKEY you will need to know the key number to order a replacement. I would recommend recording the key number and putting it in a safe place.
