coupler lock I used this lock asm. on my 2" bulldog coupler, I found that I could not close the coupler. The hoop of the lock does go around the coupler and I did lock it. 5578

The lock seems extremely robustly made. My trailer has a wide flange around the coupler and the stepped design of the bail fits perfectly. The circular keyway is secure and the casting is smooth. The teeth on both sides of the bail provide more secure latching than my one-sided prior lock. The main lock piece is smooth on the bottom preventing someone from hooking under the lock and just towing the trailer away. My prior lock had a lip that allowed the trailer to be moved with a tow hook. My only complaint is that it came with two very sharp, very pointy metal pins sticking out of the bail, maybe to secure it in the package. I had to get a pair of pliers to remove these before they ripped my hands up.17697

I have used this lock on my trailer for only two months, but it seems to hold up to the weather and is very sturdy. Excellent customer service, as another part I orders was the wrong size that with a very quick phone call, the wrong parts were on their way back to the store. I will definitely use etrailer again. 16461

I have found this lock to be a good fit for my coupler. I had tried another brand and found that the width of that lock was just a bit narrow for my hitch. This one works fine. The finish of the lock looks as though it will resist weathering for some time. I recommend this lock.13583
