Heavy duty carrier extends spare tire at an angle to avoid damage or marring of boat finish. Fits wheel sizes from 13" - 15", with 5-hole rims and trailer tongues up to 3" x 5". Zinc TUFFPLATE finish.

The item is very sturdy and well constucted. I intended to use the item on the body of the trailer, but had to put it on the tongue instead. The angle of the arm from the mount is not steep enough. Once the tire was on, there was only about 10 inches of clearance from the groung to the tire. Some boat ramps are too steep and the tire appeared that it might rub. The manufacturer need to increase the angle so that the arm is higher and the spare has at least 12-14" between the tire and the ground.16071
