Durable, Secure Design
The lid is one of the most exciting and unique parts of this toolbox. Its quad-frame, foam-filled construction forms a solid, rigid structure that closes evenly and securely every time. Extra-thick weatherstripping runs along the outer edges to keep your box's interior clean and dry, a task that falls on the integrated ToughCoat liner as well. This lining runs throughout the tub and along the lid for absolute protection of your tools and equipment. And while security is important, so is ease of use, which is why DeWalt's industrial-grade toolboxes all open automatically to a full 90 degrees with the heavy-duty gas strut lifts. Couple that with the easy-to-use push-button system, and getting in and out of your toolbox becomes a snap.

Push-Button Access
The unique, push-button system lets you access your toolbox quickly and easily from either side of your truck. Just push the button, and the lid will unlatch and fully open so you can get in even with both hands full. Slide the center section of the push button to reveal the hidden lock and key assembly. The lock itself is both strong and durable, and it offers the extra security of being out of sight.

Superior Construction
Superior, long-lasting construction is what most sets this box apart from the others. The heavy-duty, 0.080" aluminum base is welded into one piece to prevent sagging and leaking and minimize denting. The only part of the base that is not solid aluminum is the built-in, weatherproof grommet on the side, which lets you safely and easily run power to your tools when the box is closed.

Today we are going to be reviewing the DeWalt industrial truck bed toolbox part number DIGS70B. This industrial strength toolbox is the top of the line for the heavy duty contractor out there. This toolbox features two J fasteners. One for each side of the vehicle. This is what is going to be holding the toolbox to the truck bed. You are simply going to need to drill a hole on the inside of your toolbox. Slide your J hook in through there and that will fasten on the underside of the lip of the truck bed rail. 00:24
The one piece base is constructed of heavy duty aluminum as well to help prevent sagging, leakage, and denting. This toolbox is 70 inches long by 19-1/ 4 inches wide and 15 inches tall which equals 10. 6 cubic feet of space. The cross over style of the toolbox allows it to sit cleanly over the rails of the pickup bed. The lid of the toolbox features a patented foam filled lid which helps offer increased stability and strength. It also features a full panel hinge at the rear consisting of solid core construction which helps inxure secure lid closure. The lid also features two heavy duty 45 pound gas struts which helps open the lid to a full 90 degrees. This toolbox also features over size push button latches to allow easy single handed access on either side of the vehicle. These latches are also lockable. 01:09
Now lets take a closer in depth look at the inside of the toolbox and show you its features. Looking at the inside of the toolbox the first thing that I want to make notice of is this particular toolbox has a full tough coat lining. Not only on the back side of the lid but fully inside of the toolbox as well. This is similar to the spray in bed liner that you see in pickup beds. It helps to reduce the damage to the interior of the toolbox and increases durability. Looking at the inside of the inside of the toolbox itself you will notice that we have got compartments on each side that are great for holding your spare tools or anything that you may be wanting to carry in here. At the middle we have got an adjustable plastic tray which slides the full length of the inside of the toolbox. So that you can not see, but what is built in behind the front railing is that there is a full length connecting rod that is connecting both push buttons on each side of the toolbox. What that does is allows you to just be able to open the toolbox by just simply pressing one of the buttons on either side of the vehicle. One of the nicer features of this toolbox is that it does have a drain plug built in to the side in case for some reason you do get some fluid or possible moisture build up inside of the toolbox. Included with this toolbox are two pieces of weather stripping which are going to be mounted to the underside of the lip of the toolbox. That is going to set on the rail of the truck bed and that is going to help keep from marring up the truck rail on the vehicle. With that, that will conclude the review of the DeWalt industrial truck bed toolbox part number DIGS70B.
